Karl Terry Demonstration of oil painting – 18/01/19

His topic will be: “Across the dunes – from field sketch to the studio”

Karl is a prolific ‘en plein air’ oil painter and lives on the Isle of Oxney in Kent. He loves painting in all weathers and it has brought great joy to his life.

 He is proud to be a member of the Wapping Group of Artists, the Rye Society of Artists and the Plein Air Brotherhood.

 

Karl has exhibited widely in many Galleries including Turtle Fine Art Rye, Royal Fine Art Tunbridge Wells, the Rye Art Gallery and many others on the UK and USA. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Show  and also regularly has work in the Mall Galleries in London.

His work has also been shown with the Royal Society of British Artists, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Royal Society of Marine Artists, the New English Art Club and at the Discerning Eye Exhibition.
