Chris began his art career as an illustrator in a publisher’s studio after studying Graphics in Bristol. He is a self taught painter in watercolour, acrylics and mixed media and is constantly trying to extend and add to his skills in water based painting media. He is an elected member of the RI and the Society of Graphic Fine Artists. He is also a tutor of painting and runs holidays and courses in the UK and abroad. He lives and has a studio in Dorking, Surrey. He is mostly interested in landscape, townscape, coastal subjects and also still life.
